Exhorder comes to strike hard at the DRF!

Exhorder is coming to DRF and it’s going to be brutal!

The legends of the American thrash scene with New Orlean style are going to bring some serious action to the Sassin stage and the latest information lets us understand that the quartet is preparing their new album! We expect the best from a group that has mastered its recipe since 1985.

Ready for a super groovy uppercut? See you in Durbuy!

Heidevolk is back at the Durbuy Rock Festival for the first time since 2019!

Heidevolk is back at the Durbuy Rock Festival for the first time since 2019!

For the occasion, the folk/viking metal group returns with its seventh album to date: Wederkeer! If traditional instruments and singing in Dutch are still used, we will appreciate the black metal tints that certain passages of the album can take on (Klauwen Vooruit or De Strijd Duurt Voort).

If Heidevolk will undoubtedly chant “Drink Met De Goden”, they will undoubtedly want to raise the glasses of the DRF audience! Proost!

High Voltage covers AC/DC in Durbuy!

We’re back with group announcements today with plenty to party on Friday night! We present to you: High Voltage Belgium!
This year, we invite you to pour liters of beers on Friday evening to the sound of AC/DC. And in Belgium, the guys from High Voltage are masters in the art of covering the hits of rock legends.
Back In Black, TNT, or even Highway To Hell… Get ready to review your classics at the most classic metal festival in Wallonia. Makes some noise !

Soilwork will be part of the next DRF!

We’re starting the week with a big name… and what a name! Soilwork arrives at Durbuy Rock for the first time !

Soilwork has been writing its name on posters all over the world for almost 30 years. An unmissable model of the melodic death metal genre alongside Dark Tranquility and At The Gates, the Swedes combine virtuosity and brutality both on stage and on record.

Since the death of their guitarist and composer David Andersson, the band has moved forward and is now accompanied by their touring/session guitarist Simon Johansson. This new line up has already convinced European venues and we can’t wait to welcome them to the Durbuy Rock Festival!

The announcement salvo continues!

We add a dose of thrash metal to the 27th DRF line up with Insanity Alert!

The Austrians began their conquest of the metal scene in 2011 and have since continued their rise throughout Europe. Discography-wise, their latest album “666-pack” (2019) pushes party trash to the max! It doesn’t take itself seriously and it’s completely crazy.

When the group’s slogan is “Run to the pit, mosh for your life!”, we are already looking forward to fighting in the front rows!

Fritcore is back strong with Baraka!

Belgium will be represented at Durbuy Rock with the now essential Baraka!
Baraka is to Belgian metal what Dikkenek is to cinema. It’s offbeat. It’s baraki. But how good is it! After years of waiting, the group finally released its first album… finally, its first compilation “The Very Best Of Vol.2”! This was to be expected.
Baraka doesn’t do things like others and that’s why we ask the DRF for more.

Suicidal Angels joins the 27th DRF line up!

Head to Greece for this 3rd announcement with SUICIDAL ANGELS!

If we received the Greek legends of Rotting Christ last year, it is the turn of the no less legendary Suicidal Angels to conquer the Durbuy Rock Festival.
Founded in 2001, the quartet noticed by Rotting Christ quickly acquired international fame by touring across Europe alongside Kreator and Nile.

With Suicidal Angels, prepare yourself for an ultra effective trash metal atmosphere that will remind you of Slayer or Sepultura. In short, violence as we like it at the DRF!

Their recent signing with Nuclear Blast Records augurs the release of a new merciless musical odyssey from the Greeks. Their previous opus “Years Of Aggression” (2019) was appreciated by critics and their horde of fans. We are on the lookout.

The number 1 of the German charts joins the DRF program!

Second announcement : Feuerschwanz

If this name doesn’t mean much to you at the moment, that’s normal, but this folk group has been very well known across the Rhine for almost 20 years and has just released its 11th album
which ranked No. 1 in the Teutonic charts for all styles combined.

Coming from medieval folk, they have recently toughened up their tone and, in the wake of In Extremo or Rammstein, they are ready to conquer the world with their festive folk/power metal
and very spectacular on stage.

Equilibrium is the first band on the bill at the next Durbuy Rock Festival!!!

First announcement for Durbuy Rock and not the least, since it is Equilibrium, a sure bet of epic German folk metal which will be coming to us for the 3rd time.

They will present their new young singer, Fabian Getto, and a new album to be released on Nuclear Blast. The first single “Shelter” already released bodes a new lease of life for these veterans: powerful throaty vocals, sharp riffs and a unique blend of modern metal and folk. “Shelter” presents the six musicians as the famous phoenix rising from the ashes, ready to shine for the next three decades…
